Radiology Tech PRN

USPI Doctors United Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Radiology Tech to join our team.
Located in PASADENA, TX
, we have 8 OR rooms and 4 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Colon & Rectal, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Neurological, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Podiatry, General, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures. Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Must have a current Texas state license (MRT).
• One-year hospital experience required (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
• Must possess strong OR skills.
• Must have experience using both Siemens and OEC C-Arms.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
