Position: Talent Acquisition Recruiter I

Talent Acquisition Recruiter I

System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter I to support hiring efforts in Pasadena, TX. This role is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while identifying, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet project-specific needs and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with potential candidates
  • Coordinate site interviews with hiring managers and assist in candidate selection
  • Extend contingent employment offers in accordance with federal/state regulations
  • Manage assigned requisitions including review, editing, and approval processes
  • Track and report staffing activity using tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems
  • Develop and update job descriptions based on project scope and requirements
  • Support redeployment initiatives through proactive communication with employees nearing assignment completion
  • Manage onboarding processes including background checks, drug screens, health screenings, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and employment documentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to quickly learn applicant tracking systems
  • Exposure to recruiting for craft labor or industrial roles.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance practices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or administrative experience
