HR Generalist / Talent Management
Recruitment Specialist
The primary functions of this position are to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers in order to identify, select and hire the best qualified candidates to meet the project specific needs and federal/state legal requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates.
- Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
- Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisition.
- Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software databases.
- Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work
- Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date)
- Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements)
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and
Experience:
- Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
- High level of customer service.
- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
Attention to detail. - High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related sourcing/recruiting administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus
- PHR or SHRM-CP
- Experience in:
Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries
Physical Requirements:
- Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
- May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
