Freelance — Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Tasks and responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist joins the HR / Talent Acquisition team supporting Fuel Cells & Stationary Catalysis activities at the Bayport (Pasadena, TX) site within a broader North American manufacturing and commercial environment.

In this role, you oversee the full recruitment cycle for professional, technical and specialist vacancies, with a strong focus on office profiles such as Finance, HR and management, as well as technical white-collar and blue-collar profiles.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the assigned scope.
• Partner with hiring managers to organize intake meetings, define candidate profiles, align on priorities and set realistic timelines.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies through Linked In Recruiter, referrals, job boards and other relevant channels.
• Actively build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or business-critical positions.
• Conduct screening interviews and evaluate candidates based on experience, skills and overall fit for the role and environment.
• Coordinate the interview process with hiring teams, including scheduling and feedback follow-up.
• Advise stakeholders on market insights and compensation positioning throughout the hiring process.
• Help ensure a professional and positive candidate experience at every stage.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate data in the ATS.
• Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire and pipeline conversion, and provide regular progress updates.
• Work in line with internal procedures and applicable US federal, Texas state and local employment regulations.

• You bring proven experience in full-cycle talent acquisition, ideally in a corporate or international environment.
• Talent acquisition is a core strength, including autonomous management of multiple open requisitions at the same time.
• You have strong direct sourcing and headhunting experience, including Boolean search and passive-candidate outreach.
• You have experience recruiting office profiles such as Finance, HR and management functions.
• You also have experience hiring technical white-collar and blue-collar profiles, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• You are comfortable working with ATS platforms and Linked In Recruiter.
• You understand compliant recruitment practices and have working knowledge of US employment law, including EEO and ADA principles.
• You communicate clearly, conduct strong candidate assessments and build effective relationships with hiring managers and leaders at different levels.
• You are well organized, able to work independently and comfortable in a fast-paced, international and matrixed environment.
• You are adaptable and resilient in a changing business context.
• Fluent English is required; other languages are an asset.

Bayport / Pasadena, Texas.

Hybrid working model with approximately 2 to 3 on-site days per week; additional on-site presence may be requested during the first months.
