Pasadena, TX – full time, on‑site 5 days a week.

The Site IT Manager will oversee the full scope of Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) services at the Pasadena manufacturing site. The role combines traditional Site IT Manager responsibilities with hands‑on Operational Technology Systems (OTS) leadership, ensuring reliable, secure, and Albemarle policy compliant IT‑OT environments that directly support manufacturing, laboratory, and business operations.

• Lead the Site IT team and own IT services.
• Manage OT systems and cybersecurity.
• Integrate IT‑OT networks and architecture.
• Support manufacturing, laboratory, and analytics systems.
• Provide hands‑on Tier I/II on‑site support with escalation to remote Tier II/III teams.

• Business IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations.
• OT DMZ, Process Control, and Lab Networks.
• Process Control Systems (PCS), Laboratory Systems and LIMS.
• Manufacturing and Analytics platforms.

• Act as primary IT and OT point of contact for site leadership and operations.
• Manage and coordinate full range of IT services, including infrastructure, endpoints, networks, telecommunications, security, and OT platforms.
• Provide direction, coaching, and performance management for site IT/OT team members and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to corporate IT and OT strategies, standards, policies, and change management processes.
• Accountable for incidents, request fulfillment, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain cybersecurity posture of OT environments, implement and maintain secure OT architectures, and perform system patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Oversee IT‑OT network environments, maintain architecture diagrams, IP addressing, and support virtual environments for OT and manufacturing systems.
• Act as escalation owner for site IT or OT incidents and coordinate with corporate service owners and vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventories of IT and OT hardware, software, licenses, and industrial assets.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and on‑site service delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and audit site‑specific documentation and procedures.
• Participate in IT‑OT related capital and operational projects, coordinating with Capital Projects, Maintenance, Engineering, R&T, and Lab teams.
• Track operational metrics and drive continuous improvement in service quality and system reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT operations, including manufacturing or industrial environments.
• 5+ years of experience supporting OT systems, system administration, and IT‑OT integration.
• Experience managing IT service delivery, vendors, and technical staff.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and project management methodologies.
• Working knowledge of system security practices and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Technical expertise in OT cybersecurity architectures, secure industrial networking, PCS, PIMS, LIMS, laboratory, and analytics systems, Windows operating systems, endpoint management, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or AHV.
• Experience supporting audits and cybersecurity assessments in industrial environments.
• Certifications or training in OT or network security such as NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, Network+, CCENT, or similar are a plus.
• ITIL Foundations certified or greater.
