We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to deploy, maintain, and manage the lifecycle of PCN/OT application systems. This role is responsible for ensuring cybersecurity compliance, risk management, asset monitoring, software license administration, and operating system/software patch management across operational technology and business network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Windows-based infrastructure, and a passion for maintaining secure and reliable application environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, maintain, and support PCN/OT application systems.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and risk management requirements.
- Manage software licensing, asset inventories, and system monitoring.
- Perform operating system and application patch management.
- Support server-based applications in both on-premises and Azure environments.
- Participate in application deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for supported systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to implement technology solutions.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting server-based applications in both on-premises and Azure environments.
- Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms.
- Experience supporting application platform deployments, upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and security concepts, including Purdue Model, Air‑Gapped Networks, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience with Azure Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service (IaaS) and Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) solutions.
- Experience developing and maintaining Power Shell automation scripts.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter, and VxRail (preferred).
- Associate's Degree (2‑year) or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server and Azure.
- Experience deploying and supporting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or other distributions).
- Experience administering infrastructure environments while maintaining cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and information governance.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Tenable, Nessus, Tanium, and equivalent cybersecurity and compliance platforms.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, SAFe Framework, and experience using Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
- Experience supporting operational technology (OT) applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
