Application Engineer

Position Overview

The Application Engineer III is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and lifecycle‑managing PCN/OT application systems. This role ensures strict adherence to cybersecurity standards, supports risk and information compliance, maintains asset inventories, manages software licensing, and oversees OS/software patching across operational environments.

• Deploy, maintain, and support PCN/OT applications across on‑premise and Azure
• Troubleshoot and administer Microsoft Windows Server platforms.
• Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of application system platform deployments and lifecycle projects.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues.
• Document infrastructure systems clearly and thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, risk management, and information governance requirements.

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting server‑based on‑premise and Azure applications in OT and business networks.
• Proficiency deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server.
• Hands‑on experience with internally driven platform deployments, lifecycle projects, or customer‑facing implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including infrastructure documentation.

• Understanding of OT environments and high‑security concepts such as the Purdue model, air‑gapped networks, and zero trust.
• Familiarity with Azure IaaS and SaaS.
• Ability to develop and maintain Power Shell automation scripts.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and ideally VXRail.
• Associate degree or higher in technology or related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications in Windows Server, Azure, or related technologies.
• Experience deploying and supporting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, etc.).
• Experience administering infrastructure systems using tools such as Tenable Nessus, Tanium, or equivalent.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies or SAFe framework, with experience using Microsoft ADO.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms to meet
• Proven experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows
• Strong background supporting OT applications.
• Consistent demonstration of analytical and problem‑solving skills to help teams resolve issues effectively.
