Summary:

The CFS Office Operations Manager oversees the daily office operations of a Container Freight Station. This role coordinates with warehouse supervisors, customers, carriers, and drivers to keep freight moving accurately and on schedule. The manager leads the office team, maintains shipment records, resolves documentation issues, and helps prevent freight from being misplaced or released incorrectly.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise office staff and assign daily priorities.
• Coordinate freight receiving, unloading, storage, loading, and release with the warehouse team.
• Verify shipment details, freight counts, locations, and supporting documents.
• Ensure inventory and shipment records are updated accurately and promptly.
• Communicate shipment status and resolve discrepancies with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Review damage, shortage, and overage reports and follow through on corrections.
• Monitor deadlines, service performance, and open issues; escalate delays when needed.
• Train staff on office procedures, documentation standards, and customer service.
• Communicate effectively and maintain consistent follow-up with all customers.
• Ensure customer inquiries, requests, and concerns are acknowledged, documented, and followed through to resolution in a timely manner.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or a business-related field preferred.
• Experience in freight, warehouse, logistics, or CFS operations.
• Experience supervising an office or operations team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines and manage several shipments at once.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping documentation.
