Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Liaise with supervisor and executive management to develop, organize and schedule office/lab expansions, procurement of new locations and other similar activities.
• Attend on site to inspect potential new premises, meet with building owners/landlords, evaluate buildings against needs and present detailed reports to management.
• Work with contractors/developers to ensure understanding of scope of work and company needs and expectations.
• Provide detailed status reports to management including projected timelines, difficulties encountered, budget overruns or any other similar issues.
• Schedule department employees to ensure job expectations are met/exceeded.
• Manage and oversee warehouse operations and staff.
• Other similar related activities required by operational needs or assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related area.
• 5+ years of experience in industry.
• 2+ years in similar field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong math and analytical/estimating skills.
• Considerable knowledge of buildings and general construction practices.
• Understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills:
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Mainly field and remote locations with some office work, frequent travel required, frequent non-traditional working hours anticipated.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ability to work under high stress circumstances, available for work during non-traditional hours.
