Administrative Manager I – Purchasing Manager

Recruitment is open for two weeks and will establish a County-only eligible list for Administrative Manager I/Purchasing. One vacant position exists. Only current County of Orange employees may apply.

• Performs all departmental purchasing functions including but not limited to Requests for Proposals, Invitation for Bids, price agreements, purchase orders, and supply purchasing.
• Manages the department’s insurance database and supply inventory system.
• Supervises subordinate staff.

• Minimum of three years directly related experience performing analytical, administrative and/or management duties and responsibilities in county purchasing and supervision of subordinate personnel.
• Must possess a current deputized purchasing agent certification.
