Project Manager

Job Description

This role leads multiple technical projects from initial kickoff through final customer acceptance, with full ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to deliver complex switch gear, E-House, and building solutions. The position serves as the primary customer-facing contact, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and successful project outcomes in a fast-growing organization focused on data center and power distribution products.

Responsibilities

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through final customer acceptance, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed requirements.

+ Lead end-to-end project execution including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery.

+ Own and control project scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance, taking accountability for project success.

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication, setting expectations, and driving customer satisfaction.

+ Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and other stakeholders, to align internal execution with customer requirements.

+ Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and drive ongoing project update meetings.

+ Communicate technical and contractual requirements to internal teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and compliance with commitments.

+ Allocate resources effectively and prioritize project activities to meet key milestones and deadlines.

+ Manage vendors and subcontractors, ensuring they understand the scope and deliverables and perform according to project requirements.

+ Monitor project status, identify risks and issues, and report progress regularly to stakeholders, recommending mitigation actions when needed.

+ Ensure all project activities comply with documentation standards, contractual terms, and company processes.

+ Support invoicing activities by tracking project milestones, validating billable events, and coordinating with internal teams to issue invoices.

+ Track payments and manage project financials, including budget adherence, cost control, and financial reporting for assigned projects.

+ Review and approve shipments, ensuring all equipment and documentation are complete and accurate before delivery.

+ Verify that all deliverables meet customer expectations and contractual requirements before final handover.

+ Drive project closeout activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and internal handover, to ensure a clean project completion.

+ Secure formal customer acceptance at project completion and ensure all obligations are fulfilled.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 3+ years of project management experience with full scope responsibility, including financials, schedule, client-facing communication, and production coordination.

+ Strong project management skills across the full product development life cycle, from planning and design through manufacturing and delivery.

+ Experience in engineering-focused environments, preferably with an electrical engineering.

+ Hands-on experience in manufacturing or fabrication companies, particularly with medium voltage and low voltage equipment.

+ Practical knowledge of switch gear, controls, relay panels, and related electrical equipment.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

+ Proven capability to manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and supporting invoicing and payment tracking.

+ Ability to interpret and communicate technical and contractual requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to serve as the primary customer contact and maintain strong working relationships.

+ Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with direct exposure to scheduling, coordination, and delivery of physical products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $52.88/hr.
