Fast Hole EDM Machine Operators

• Analyzes and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Operates multiple EDM machines when required.
• Take apart, clean, and rebuild tooling after completed production runs.
• Knowledge of rotary/linear axes and G and M codes
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications, using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, borescopes and more.
• Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
• Focuses and concentrates on the task at hand without being distracted.
• Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous conventional machining experience preferred but not required
• Have basic mechanical and mathematical skills
• Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push and/or pull up to 45 pounds occasionally
• Stand at least 95% of scheduled shift
• Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and materials
• Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment drug and background screening and random drug screening
