Fabrication Technician / Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician / Welder to support our operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys hands‑on fabrication and repair work that directly supports daily operations.
What You’ll Do- Perform welding and metal fabrication using MIG, TIG, stick, or other applicable processes
- Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components, frames, and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work orders accurately
- Measure, cut, grind, fit, and weld materials to meet design and quality specifications
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure strength, appearance, and compliance
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as welders, torches, grinders, saws, and presses
- Support repair and maintenance of existing equipment and structures
- Assist with installation or modification of fabricated items in the shop or field
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and proper welding practices
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and management on fabrication needs
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficient fabrication solutions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of fabrication and welding experience preferred
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Strong knowledge of metals, welding procedures, and fabrication tools
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to travel between sites as needed
- Welding certifications
- Experience in maritime, industrial, or heavy equipment environments
- Forklift or equipment operation experience
