Warehouse Operator

Provides shipping and receiving support for projects, maintains inventory control, operates warehouse equipment, and participates in warehouse maintenance and cleaning. Independent work environment.

• Receives, stores, issues material and supplies to project sites.
• Loads, unloads supplies and equipment, and places incoming supplies on shelves or in assigned areas; climbs ladders to stock shelves.
• Moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site; reads work orders or follows oral instructions to locate materials or containers.
• Opens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials to or from storage or work sites using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, forklifts, or other devices.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination using hand‑operated crane or hoist or signals crane operators.
• Counts, weighs, and records numbers of units of materials moved or handled on a daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together using banding machine and clincher.
• Clamps sections of portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or using power hoist; cleans work area, machines, and equipment with broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.
• Assembles crates to contain/ship products (e.g., machines or vehicles) using hand tools and pre‑cut lumber.
• Shovels loose materials (e.g., gravel, metals, plastics, chemicals) into wheelbarrows, scrap trucks, or barrels.
• Occasionally operates forklift, truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Observes and complies with all safety and project rules.
• Performs other duties as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with driving record within company established parameters.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
• 0–2 years of experience.
