Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities at large‑scale industrial gas production facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on pumps, compressors, valves, motors, control systems, and cryogenic units
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules, inspections, and calibrations to support reliability and enhance equipment performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, uncover root causes, and contribute to effective repair solutions
- Utilize CMMS to document work orders, track equipment history, and manage spare parts inventory
- Commit to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations, including LOTO, confined space entry, and hot work permits
- Participate in on‑call rotation and support the team during emergency breakdowns outside of regular working hours as required
- Collaborate with operations personnel and engineers to foster plant processes and improve equipment reliability
- Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals
- Conduct equipment inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of tools and equipment
- High school diploma or GED essential
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or vocational certificates in HVAC, welding, or machining preferred
- 1‑3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or similar experience
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools (grinders, welding equipment, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with CMMS often required
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods
- Problem‑solving – diagnostic skills to identify and fix issues efficiently
- Safety awareness – knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards
- Communication – ability to work well in teams and report to management
- Work schedule – Monday to Friday
