Industrial Blaster Painter I Location:
Pasadena, TX Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Summary:

Duration: 12 Months
1st Shift: 7am to 3pm, Monday – Friday
OT and weekends

Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:
- Remove dirt, rust, old paint, and other contaminants from surfaces using various blasting media (e.g., sand, grit, shot).
- Prepare surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion and durability of the coating.
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from defects before painting.
Coating Application:
- Apply industrial coatings (e.g., paints, primers, sealants) using various methods (e.g., spray guns, brushes, rollers).
- Mix and apply coatings according to specifications and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of related experience.
Industrial and epoxy painting experience.
Zinc coating experience.
Forklift experience.
Sandblasting experience.
SAP experience preferred but not required (ERP systems a plus).

Preferred

Skills:

Paint mixing experience.
Good communicator.
Attention to detail (checking thickness in paint).
