** Plant Manager
** position is an excellent opportunity for someone with significant operational experience in manufacturing and/or chemical processes to lead a cross-functional team to deliver the goals and objectives for the company.  By successfully managing budgets, staff, and operating assets against production targets for the plant, this role will provide an excellent opportunity to exhibit leadership capabilities.
** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Directly responsible to assure the plant is conducting business in a safe and environmentally compliant manner including extending such protection to the neighboring communities.
* As a part of the operations leadership team establishes plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to ensure continuous improvement within assigned units while being in a key leadership position to influence the goals and objectives for the company.
* Responsible and accountable for achieving operating plan targets and for operating the assets in a manner that is safe and environmentally compliant.
* Leads by example and establishes a working environment that involves trust to drive a diverse, high-performing team that creates a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership.
* Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping effective operations and cost factors. Executes production schedule within safe limits and adjusts as required to stay within limits.
* Leads projects (scope development, business justification, & oversight of resources) to drive safety, quality, & productivity improvements.
* Leads cross-functional teams, in employee development, succession planning/knowledge transfer, and performance management for daily execution
* Directs the activities of plant through direct oversight & supervisors who are responsible to produce effective results within their area of responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
* Responsible for meeting the business plan for the budget, productivity, quality, and EHS targets.
* Provides operational coordination for asset optimization through coordination with company resources.
* Takes ownership of asset operation working with maintenance department.
* Participates in budgeting activities, reviews costs and expenses, and strives for continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and safety of unit operations across the company.
* Communicates production opportunities, constraints, and overall performance in a prioritized manner to the company.## Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from accredited university or institution preferred
* Experience in PSM facility
* 8+ years of experience in manufacturing / chemical processes
* Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company in an ongoing capacity without company sponsorship
