Position Overview Pro Source People is hiring an Assembly Technician for a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for candidates with assembly experience who enjoy working with tools, machinery, and production equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling components, operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production goals in a team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
· Assemble components to produce high-quality finished products
· Operate production machines, robot welders, and assembly equipment
· Utilize hand tools and power tools, including screw guns, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
· Troubleshoot machinery and assist with basic machine operation issues
· Pull and stage product kits for shipment and apply labels according to customer orders
· Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
· Maintain inventory counts as requested
· Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards
· Communicate production status and progress with the Production Manager
· Meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen activities
· Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
· Ability to understand and follow method instructions
· Experience using hand tools and small power tools
· Previous assembly experience preferred (1–2 years)
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
· Frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs.
· Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to use hands for handling tools, materials, and equipment
· Ability to maintain focus and concentration throughout the workday
· Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
