Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC and manual machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
• Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and measurement instruments.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited machinist apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification from a recognized machining or manufacturing organization (e.g., NIMS).
• Experience working in a regulated industry such as aerospace or automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to fabricate precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.
