Shop Supervisor (Night Shift

Department Shop Management Location Pasadena Texas Flsa Status Exempt - ST OT reports to Shop Management work schedule Standard schedule is Monday through Friday (Night Shift).

• Team Leadership:
  Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of pipe fitters, welders, and shop helpers to hit daily production goals.
• Safety Enforcement:
  Maintain absolute compliance with OSHA regulations and internal company safety policies. Conduct routine toolbox talks and equipment inspections.
• Quality Assurance:
  Interpret isometric layouts, spool drawings, and welding specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and weld quality prior to shipment.
• Workflow Optimization:
  Direct material staging and schedule the use of shop equipment including pipe welding machines, band saws, beveling tools, and overhead cranes.
• Testing & Compliance:
  Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) and hydro-testing operations to verify system integrity and zero-leak compliance.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial pipe fitting, structural welding, or mechanical pipe fabrication.
• Supervisory Background: At least 2 years of proven experience in a leadership, Supervision, or floor lead capacity within a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Technical Skillset:
  Strong proficiency reading isometrics, specifications, support details and advanced shop math calculation abilities, and familiarity with codes like ASME B31.3 or AWS.

  Basic working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, outlook, (Spoolfab/Acorn Plus)
• Automation/Machine welding experience preferred.
