Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in your role:

  • Assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long‑range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.
  • Assist in coordinating the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
  • Be responsible for assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Women’s Services Units.

Qualifications you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in NICU required
  • 2+ years of management or Charge Nurse experience required
  • BSN required
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 60 days of hire)
