Emergency Room Nurse
Providing acute care and emergency services to patients in a busy Emergency Department, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately upon arrival.
- Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status using advanced medical equipment.
- Document patient information and care activities accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Adhere to all unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of emergency room or trauma experience.
- Hold current certifications: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC.
- Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, adaptability, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage high-acuity patients and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
