Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide immediate emergency care to patients in a busy hospital emergency room setting. Deliver high-quality patient assessments, interventions, and stabilization while working as part of a skilled healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer emergency treatments, including IV starts, blood draws, and moderate sedations.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, and bedside cardiac monitors.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system, transitioning from Meditech Magic to Expanse.
• Follow unit policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Possess at least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures such as splinting, IV placement, and blood draws.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and patient-focused communication skills.
• Certified in TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI is preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and on-call as needed.
