IMU Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN)

3 days per week, 7p-7a/Rotating Weekends

Take your nursing leadership career to the next level at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast and drive clinical excellence as an IMU Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN). This frontline leadership position is strategically tailored to attract high-caliber IMU, PCU, Stepdown, and Med-Tele RNs who are ready to combine advanced bedside expertise with shift operations, patient throughput coordination, and staff mentorship. Working within our high-acuity stepdown and intermediate care units, you will oversee comprehensive progressive care services—including continuous telemetry monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line management, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP), high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and complex vasoactive drip titrations.

Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing all daily functions and operations within the department during the designated shift. Directs, evaluates, and monitors nursing care in collaboration with the management team to ensure strict adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Serves as a vital resource person for the clinical team, modeling organizational values to support departmental performance and an unparalleled patient experience.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current BLS, and ACLS issued from American Heart Association required
• 1 year of clinical IMU, PCU, Med-Tele experience as a licensed RN in a hospital required.
