This dynamic position is intentionally designed to attract high-caliber L&D, LDRP, Perinatal, Obstetrical (OB), Intrapartum, and Maternal-Newborn RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality care during life's most meaningful moments. Operating within our comprehensive women’s services line, you will manage high-acuity labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, including high-risk obstetrical monitoring, trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC/VBAC), and immediate post-surgical recovery in our dedicated cesarean surgical suites.
Our nursing team works in close collaboration with board-certified OB/GYNs and an on-site, 24/7 designated Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to ensure maximum safety for both mother and infant.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care and discharge planning using an interdisciplinary team approach.
- Execute physician orders, assist with procedures, safely administer medications, and monitor clinical changes using a defined chain of command.
- Maintain accurate medical records while strictly following hospital policies, infection control protocols, and the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Participate actively in hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives to directly elevate clinical safety and patient outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by exhibiting professional behavior that supports a high-quality working workplace.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and privacy while honoring diverse cultural, psychosocial, and spiritual values.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current BLS, ACLS, EFM and NRP issued from American Heart Association required
- 1 year of clinical L&D experience as a licensed RN in a hospital required
