, as a Rehab Care Registered Nurse (RN). This dynamic position is tailored to attract top-tier restorative care clinicians, including Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRN) and specialists in Acute, Subacute, Neuro-Rehab, and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Operating within our dedicated, high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation facility, you will deliver intensive, evidence-based care to patients recovering from debilitating medical events, traumatic injuries, or major orthopedic and neurological surgeries.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assesses, plans, and coordinates complete care for patients from admission to discharge.
  • Administers medications safely, follows doctor orders, and assists with medical tests.
  • Tracks patient progress, records changes in condition, and notifies the care team promptly.
  • Records care accurately while keeping patient records and personal information confidential.
  • Follows hospital policies, safety laws, and proper infection control methods.
  • Teaches patients and families, works well with colleagues, and helps improve hospital quality.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License with 90 days of hire date).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
  • 1-year of Rehabilitation clinical experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting required.
