JOB TITLE:

Server Attendant

REPORTS TO:

Royce Manager SUPERVISES: NA PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES
  • Quickly clear dirty table wipe it with moist towel or rag for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service-ware as prescribed.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
  • Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
  • Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
  • Replaces soiled table linens with fresh supply.
  • Complete all required side-work.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 35 lbs.
  • Requires considerable repetitive motion of hands, wrists and fingers as relating to carrying, serving, and lifting objects.
  • Requires interaction with people as relates to attending to needs, requests or the expressed or implicit wishes of people. Immediate response is required.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekday evenings, weekends and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Walk or stand for carrying lengths or time, sometimes for extended periods of time of 6+ hours.
  • Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, lifting, carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, walking.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Must be able to effectively work with a variety of internal and external customers and staff.
  • Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to ensure event coverage.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
  • CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate required.
SALARY

$18.50 + TIPS
