Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) – Inside Sales Representative

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customer needs at our Houston, TX business unit. This position will be based at our Pasadena, TX facility and is responsible for providing full customer service and sales support, developing customer relationships, and profitably selling products and services to existing and prospective customers. This role plays a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction while meeting sales and profitability goals.

Duties
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and financial goals established by the company.
  • Manage and grow new customer business through proactive sales initiatives while expanding product sales with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with established accounts and build foundations for new customer relationships.
  • Process all customer-related business from quotations through sales, shipment, and delivery, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Source, purchase, and coordinate with vendors to meet customer requirements when items are not in stock.
  • Sell, service, and promote the company’s product lines to external customers.
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues that arise from customers or internal staff.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with customers to review, discuss, and support their evolving needs.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives as opportunities arise.
  • Maintain professionalism in the workplace.
  • Perform other assigned proprietary duties as required.
Requirements / Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred but not required; industry experience or experience in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of hose products and applications is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to establish priorities and execute work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professional experience working with customers and/or the public; three years of related sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of hose applications, production, testing equipment, and related services preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of the company without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of work and meet customer delivery deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to complete on‑the‑job training; industry certifications preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, tablets, and other office tools.
  • Ability to perform duties in an office and warehouse‑support environment as needed.
