Role Summary

This role will oversee and execute all selling activities within the designated territory targeted to support customers and end‑users. This function serves as a product expert, that develops strong business relationships with customers and ensures their support and satisfaction with CSI products.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets with channel partners and end users within the assigned territory as part of the overall sales and marketing plan for the division
  • Develop and execute a Territory Plan by expanding market awareness of our products through communicating features and benefits of products successfully
  • Act as a steward of the CSI portfolio by making recommendations and by managing complaints/issues in the field as needed, in partnership with the Tech Service Managers
  • Manage and grow existing customer base by understanding and anticipating customer needs
  • Communicate sales and marketing opportunities with existing and new business opportunities
  • Identify and resolve any and all customer disputes while recommending a course of action to alleviate future concerns. Communicate to leadership quickly on corrective actions
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities at a Corporate level and with existing customer base
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of competitive products and offers by identifying and reporting intelligence on pricing and marketing strategies
  • Submit ongoing territory reports to include daily activities, competitor information, and customer interaction
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated self‑starter who can work autonomously and as a part of a team in a fast‑paced, changing environment
  • High level of initiative, creative thinking, decision making, and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timelines
  • Inherent ability to influence with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to gain trust
Requirements
  • BS/BA (preferably) in Ag Business or Marketing
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory (80% of the time)
  • Reliable transportation with clean driving record
  • Goal of becoming successful in performing territory development activities and personal growth opportunities within Control Solutions
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Must be located within the Primary Territory
