Position: Customer Partner (Sales Executive)

Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship and Strategy Management
    • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer business to maintain awareness of fundamentals.
    • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in client organizations.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to add value across customer operations, identify key sites, and pilot solutions for scaling.
    • Ensure alignment with Pinnacle stakeholders, manage communication, kick‑offs, reporting, and escalation protocols.
    • Maintain accurate sales opportunity tracking, revenue projections, and reporting.
  • Opportunity Management
    • Identify and understand customer pain points in asset management, equipment reliability, and maintenance, and quantify business value opportunities.
    • Act as trusted advisor, design solutions with Pinnacle Solutions and Technology teams, and present tailored solutions demonstrating measurable value.
    • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and negotiations to complete contracts.
Accountabilities & Success Metrics
  • Revenue growth of customers over time with Pinnacle’s core solutions.
  • Customer Health Score – average Pinnacle Way score across owned customer sites.
  • Pinnacle Way “Understand” rating of 2 or better.
  • Ability to clarify facility, leadership, and personnel goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of industrial sector experience with a proven track record in value‑based selling, preferably in reliability, maintenance, or industrial solutions.
  • Highly curious with a learning mindset; ability to connect, build rapport, and understand business drivers of key customer roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and present to C‑suite executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for consultative solution design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Power BI, and CRM software.
  • Understanding of reliability and mechanical integrity engineering or related functions.
  • 3+ years of account executive experience managing complex value‑based sales opportunities.
