Senior Field Technician - CCTV & Access Control

Danner’s Incorporated is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Service Technician – Level III to join our Video Division team.

This is not an entry-level technician role. We’re looking for a seasoned, hands‑on professional who can troubleshoot complex systems, support field technicians, and deliver high-quality installations and service for commercial security and surveillance systems.

As a Level III Technician, you’ll serve as a senior field technician supporting installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service work across a variety of customer environments.

• Installing and servicing CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and low-voltage wiring
• Troubleshooting advanced system and networking issues
• Configuring and testing IP‑based surveillance systems
• Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Performing preventative maintenance and system upgrades
• Supporting and mentoring Level I and Level II technicians
• Maintaining accurate documentation and service records
• Ensuring job sites are safe, organized, and professional
• Providing excellent customer service and technical support

• 5+ years of experience in security systems, CCTV, access control, low-voltage, or related field service work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with IP‑based and network‑connected systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with good driving record
• Ability to work independently and support field teams
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Low‑voltage, CCTV, or access control certifications
• Experience with commercial or industrial security systems
• TWIC card
