This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics / trucking company located in Houston, TX. Reports to Shop Foreman.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain tractors and trailers.
- Perform inspections on equipment.
- Keep shop areas safe and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Good communication skills.
- One year of experience in maintenance and repair (preferred).
- Air brake certified.
- Must have own tools.
- Tank experience.
- CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements.
- Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems.

- 8-hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- On call.

- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (preferred).
