• Assist skilled tradespeople (such as pipe fitters, carpenters, and ironworkers) with tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and systems.
• Prepare, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for daily work.
• Measure, cut, and handle materials under the direction of a skilled craft worker.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Follow instructions to support assembly, fabrication, or dismantling of industrial structures and equipment.
• Perform basic labor duties such as lifting, holding, or positioning parts and materials during installation or repair.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industrial standards.
• Assist with inspections and routine maintenance activities as directed.
• Support efficiency of operations by anticipating needs and proactively preparing work areas.

• Must have 1‑2+ years of experience working as an industrial Skilled Craft Helper.
• Must have a TWIC Card (for most sites).
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must meet all qualifications below.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to meet all physical demands.
• Must have experience on an industrial construction project.
• Must have all the required tools.
• Good problem‑solving abilities.
• Good aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading comprehension.
• Ability to work with others – team player.
• Ability to work independently – minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills with co‑workers and supervisors.
• A commitment to H+M values and safety rules and regulations.

• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Will talk and hear to communicate.
• Use arms and hands to signal, reach for, handle or manipulate objects, materials, and tools.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs.
• See well (naturally or with correction).
• Eye‑hand coordination.
• Good physical fitness.
• Good sense of balance.
• Work at heights.

Employees are required to utilize their own tools. A detailed tool list will be provided during processing.

Working conditions encountered in this job include those found in a typical outdoor manufacturing setting which includes exposure to outside weather conditions, work at elevated heights, climbing of stairs and ladders, and physical manipulation of tools and mechanical equipment. This job demands the use of typical manufacturing personal protective equipment as well as advanced protective equipment as needed.
