Responsibilities- Prepare wood and metal surfaces for painting and paint equipment, parts, machinery, buildings, and other working areas using a spray gun, brush, or roller.
- Read work orders and receive instructions verbally.
- Prepare surfaces to remove dirt, oil, and grease, remove old paint, smooth cracks, coat, and fill holes.
- Work at heights as required.
- Fill cavities and dents with putty to achieve a smooth surface.
- Select and mix coating liquids to produce the desired color according to specifications using a paddle or mechanical mixer.
- Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
- Apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun, brush, and/or roller.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience: 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
Certification/License: NCCER preferred, not required, and a valid driver's license.
