Job Summary  This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery under close supervision. This entry-level role supports senior mechanics in diagnosing issues, performing basic repairs, and ensuring equipment is safe and operational.
This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations. Tasks can be carried out after basic training or demonstration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Primary Functions:o Have and maintain ability to use and operate forklift so Observe Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all STS Safety Policies and ISO Procedure so Be on the job site and in your assigned work area at the scheduled timeo Must be self-motivated and willing to learno Handle departments’ recycling and removing of all trash on a daily basiso Assure all cables, shackles, straps and chains are put away dailyo Keep work area clean and well organized during all phases of the projecto Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, including all Supervisors, Managers, Leadmenand hourly personnelo General cleanup of departments change room / restroom facilitieso Provide assistance to Core departments as requiredo Must follow the STS dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all timeso Maintain LEAN objections within the departmento Perform specialized task as requiredo Maintain accurate time sheets on a daily basiso Complete company-required training programs
