Brown & Root Industrial Services - - Responsibilities:
Plan, layout, install, and repair wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment;
Prepare sketches showing wiring locations or follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure concealed wiring is installed before walls/ceilings/flooring are completed;
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; pull wiring through conduit with assistance;
Splice wires and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools;
Install control and distribution apparatus (switches, relays, circuit breakers) and connect power cables and grounding leads;
Test continuity and electrical systems using instruments (ohmmeter, oscilloscope) and observe performance to determine hazards or need for adjustments
