Field Service Technician

Job Description About the Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial services organization supporting a variety of commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and working in different environments each day. Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

• Travel to customer locations to support field operations and service projects
• Perform inspections, maintenance, repair, and installation activities
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with implementing solutions
• Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment to complete assigned work
• Complete documentation and communicate project updates with internal teams
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas
• Support emergency and after-hours service activities as needed
• Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned

• 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, maintenance, construction, field service, or related experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience using common hand tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to lift and move equipment as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
• OSHA certifications
• Prior field service experience
• Military experience
• Experience mentoring or training others

$30-$45/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
