Equipment Technician

Responsible for maintaining the operational readiness and reliability of purpose-built mechanized welding equipment, specialty welding systems, and supporting tools used in both field and shop operations. Ensures equipment is properly maintained, inspected, repaired, and available to support safe and efficient project execution.

• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and schematics
• Understanding of electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electrical components and their applications
• Basic understanding of welding processes and welding theory
• Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with project personnel, technicians, and supervisors

• High School Diploma or GED required
