Heavy Haul Truck Driver – Pasadena, TX

Turner Industries is seeking a Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our Crane and Rigging group in the Pasadena, TX area. The driver must hold a Class A CDL license with a Haz Mat endorsement and a TWIC. Heavy Haul and Lowboy trailer experience is required. This is a local position for candidates residing in the Houston, TX area; no per diem or relocation is available.

• Regular work week based out of Turner's equipment yard in Pasadena, TX near the Beltway
• Delivering and picking up cranes and other pieces of equipment from area refineries and chemical plants
• TWIC required
• May include late nights, weekends, or emergency call‑out work. Overtime is paid at time‑and‑a‑half after 40 hours

Inspect product load for accuracy, move it safely around the warehouse or facility, and ensure timely and complete delivery. Operate gasoline‑ or electric‑powered trucks, cars, or tractors to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. Handle controls for lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams, swivel‑hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms to load, unload, transport, and stack material. Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, securing material for transport to designated areas.

Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, and replacing liquefied‑gas tanks. Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement
• Pre‑employment qualification test/federal written driving test
• D.O.T. drug screen/card
• Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation (20/40 vision, with or without correction, required)
• Job site orientation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place
