Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Dispatcher for a contract/temporary opportunity with a transportation company in the Pasadena, TX area. This Dispatcher role is ideal for an organized logistics professional who enjoys coordinating routes, communicating with drivers and customers, and helping ensure freight and material movement stays on schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced transportation environment where communication, teamwork, and reliability are essential.

• Coordinate driver routes, schedules, pickup times, and delivery updates throughout the workday.
• Communicate regularly with drivers, customers, and internal teams by phone, email, and basic computer systems.
• Monitor dispatch activity and make adjustments as needed to support on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Track schedule changes, delays, and service updates while keeping appropriate parties informed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, route details, customer notes, and communication logs.
• Support daily transportation operations by prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Pay range: $20 to $22 per hour.
• Job type:
  Contract/Temporary.
