PSC Group is seeking a Fleet Compliance Leader to join our Operational Excellence team. This leadership role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient fleet operations across our North American network. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in DOT compliance performance by developing standardized processes, supporting operational teams, strengthening driver training initiatives, and promoting best practices across all locations.
This position plays a key role in maintaining regulatory excellence while supporting the growth and success of our transportation operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble, manage and monitor the DOT Driver files for all CMV operators, including:
Requesting, reviewing and determining status of state MVR and driver’s certifications of violations, previous employer inquiries, safety performance history records, driver medical certification, various acknowledgement forms, certificate of driver’s road test. - Monitor Electronic Log Device (ELD), taking action as required when issues are found.
- Provide driver coaching on safety KPI’s/metrics.
- Oversee Vehicle Maintenance Program.
- Monitor PSC’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) SMS rating and take actions as needed, including Corrective Action Plans.
- Lead PSC’s efforts in FMCSA and DOT Audits.
- Drive continuous and updated compliance throughout PSC on industry and regulatory changes, and upcoming changes.
- Research and secure permits as required by state or federal authorities:
Operating Authority, Fuel Permits, Motor Carrier Permit. - Coordinate the International Registration Plan (IRP) and the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA).
- Perform periodic check-rides with PSC drivers.
- Utilize DataQ system to dispute recorded accidents when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with fleet operations, transportation, or logistics.
- Familiarity with ELD systems, CSA scores, and compliance tracking tools.
- Knowledge of safety management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Ability to build trust and have strong verbal and written communication with all levels, inside and outside the organization.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to be adaptable and work independently with a high degree of integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 30%.
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Fluent in English.
- Veteran-friendly: previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
