Logistics Coordinator

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

This position requires the use of a forklift.

Responsibilities include:

• Comparing identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and/or outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Posting incoming shipments in ERP program (SAP) and job excel sheet.
• Distributing materials to the appropriate area(s) in shop.
• Preparing outgoing shipments: packaging materials, preparing BOLs, contacting carriers and making sure materials are picked up by carriers.
• Keeping all incoming and outgoing areas neatly organized.
• Keeping S&R station clean and organized - keeping track of supplies and requesting replenishment as needed so we are always ready to prepare shipments.
• Ensuring material inventory is always neat and orderly and incoming items for inventory are properly categorized and stored.
• Keeping traffic areas inside and outside of S&R area cleaned and organized.
• Industrial shop environment, forklift will be used and proper PPE is required at all times while in the shop areas.
