- Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
- Maintain or oversee control of accounts and records to ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, SOX and DoD guidelines
- Compile and analyze accounting information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
- Design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of transactions
- Adhere to and communicate accounting and auditing policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Perform complex accounting tasks as an organizational expert
- Communicate technical approaches and findings clearly
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 10 years of experience
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 8 years of experience
- PhD in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 6 years of experience
- Payroll experience a plus
- Ability to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
- Knowledge of FAR, CAS, SOX and DoD guidelines
- Ability to compile and analyze accounting information, record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
- Ability to design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, accounting principles, and compliance with FAR, CAS, SOX, and DoD guidelines. Proficient in designing and maintaining accounting systems while effectively communicating technical findings.
