- School Year
- 187 days per school year
- Must possess an Early Childhood Associate's Degree
- OR an Associate's degree in any field OR 60 College Credit hours AND 12 early childhood college credit hours OR completion of an early childhood training program
- OR a High School Diploma/GED AND must provide qualifying scores for the Work Keys test AND 12 early childhood college credit hours OR completion of an early childhood training program

- Proficiency in skills of reading and writing; demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics
