Engineer Electrical

Full‑time, 1st shift. No relocation assistance. Telework not available. 25%-50% travel required. US citizenship required.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Knowledge:
Uses technical principles, theories, and concepts. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.

Problem Solving:
Develops recommended solutions to technical problems as assigned.

Discretion/Latitude:
Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Works under general supervision.

Impact:
Contributes to the completion of assigned technical tasks. Failure to achieve results should be detected in supervisory oversight.

Liaison:
Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group.

• 0 years experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field

• Ability to read basic electrical blueprints
• Shipboard experience and proficiency with AutoCAD design software
