• Research, develop, design, test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Support the Frigate Ship Design Team and report to the Frigate Ship Design Manager.
• Provide broad program technical direction and report on engineering efforts.
• Interact with program management and customer organizations supporting Frigate execution.
• Grasp Frigate program and ship design issues and related practices and procedures.
• Ensure technical adequacy, accuracy, and quality of engineering products.
• Review engineering products developed under area of responsibility.
• Act as an advisor to the SDM to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

• 9 years with a Bachelor of Science degree in related field; or 7 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree; or 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Ph.D.

• A Master of Science in Engineering and/or professional registration with 6 years of relevant experience.
