About the Agency: The Mississippi Department of Human Services is dedicated to serving others while providing a wide range of public assistance programs, social services, and support for children, low-income individuals and families. This position is with the Division of Aging & Adult Services and will be located in STATE OFFICE.

About the Position: This time limited position is located within the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS), Division of Aging & Adult Services (DAAS), Fiscal Unit. The individual will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Division by reviewing and processing subgrants, subgrant amendments, budget modifications, claims, and closeouts. The position requires close collaboration with both the Fiscal Unit and Program Teams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and timely, accurate financial reporting.

The individual will also maintain regular communication with subgrantees, providing guidance and support to ensure fiscal accountability and program integrity.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of experience and/or appropriate certification.
