Hospital Policy Administrator is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing hospital policies, ensuring compliance, and providing expert advice on policy matters to hospital staff and management. They conduct research, analyze data, and recommend policy changes to optimize efficiency and improve patient care. Maintains daily operations of the policy software system. Interacts with department, organization, and vendor to build, maintain, and support Policy Management System and associated processes.
Ensures policies entered into the system are maintained in accordance with hospital policy.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, master’s degree in nursing, business, or healthcare administration
License or Certification Requirements:
- Preferred: License
- Mississippi RN license or Compact state RN license
Experience Requirements:
Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in policy analysis or related field, ideally in a healthcare setting
Required: Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare facility; with three (3) years of experience in, quality management, performance improvement, or risk management performing data mining, informatics data analytics, standard methodologies for data extractions including queries
