IT Support, Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
The Network Administrator will provide daily IT support services for the Fleet Introduction Project and local IT staff, contractor staff, and U.S. Naval personnel at four locations (Pascagoula, MS; Bath, ME; Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA). The project offers Pre‑commissioning (PCU/PCD) support to ship’s force for administrative and technical services. Fleet Introduction work is performed in an integrated support team environment that includes government and Noblis teams working closely with Program Executive Offices (PEOs), ships, supervisors of shipbuilding, shipbuilders, and U.S. Naval personnel.
They will report directly to the project’s Technical Lead and provide daily support to U.S. Navy personnel, government representatives, and contractor personnel.
Duties- Supporting IT projects: maintaining and meeting deadlines for IT projects, such as system updates, software and hardware upgrades, migrations, asset management, and network outages.
- Presenting IT tasking progress to the broader team or entire organization.
- Supporting users: creating and managing user accounts, email addresses, distribution and security groups via SharePoint while utilizing Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Enterprise Tool (NET).
- Addressing customer issues that have been escalated from the support team.
- Providing user accounts for SIPR access as required.
- Audits: providing ongoing permission audits of SharePoint sites.
- Help Desk: assisting with IT help desk issues.
- SharePoint Management: creating and managing ships and team data sites, creating and maintaining user accounts, email addresses, distribution and security groups.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology (or similar area) OR an Associate’s degree with 3+ years of technical experience OR a High School diploma with 6+ years of technical experience.

- Must obtain Active Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must obtain and retain an SCA (Site Collection Admin) certificate within 6 months of hire

- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Hold active Security+ Certification
- Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) / Flank Speed background
- Familiar with Flank Speed Account Service Tool (FsAST) and NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET)
- Familiar with Asset Management
