Additional requirements:
active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. Security clearance must be active on day 1.
Provide system administration support for a classified Raytheon program as part of a backend and support team. Key duties include:
- Monitoring and supporting 24x7 operational systems, ensuring system health and security posture.
- Responding to after-hours call‑in requirements with an 8x5 schedule.
- Collaborating with program developers, system engineers, and help desk team members to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and customers in a customer‑facing environment.
- Managing system capacity and troubleshooting high priority systems under operational pressure.
- Upholding security and operational procedures in a real‑time environment.
- Work is 100% onsite at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date (IAT Level 2 requires one or more of: Security+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND).
- Experience with VMware or Linux systems.
- Experience with tape libraries.
- Experience configuring domain tools such as Active Directory, Centrify, LDAP, and DNS.
- Experience with Veritas tape libraries and/or Hitachi VSPs.
- Ability to debug and modify programs in an advanced programming language.
- Experience with storage products from Oracle, Dell/EMC (Isilon/Power Scale), Net App.
- Experience presenting technical information to customers and internal audiences.
- Strong background in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
- Understanding of OS concepts such as swapping, paging, inter‑process communication, device drivers.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. Relocation assistance available.
